Carol Gilbert is a retired feature writer living in West Cork, Ireland. She is a director of Made In West Cork Distribution Ltd and of Carbery Enterprise Group Ltd. Made in West Cork Distribution was set up to highlight and provide a showcase for the wonderful crafts and food products available in West Cork; visit the MiWCD website at (click on link) Made in West Cork. And Carbery Enterprise Group Ltd (again click on link to go to the website) is small group set up in response to the downturn in the economy following the ‘Celtic Tiger’ crash.  Carbery’s mission is to secure sustainable jobs in rural communities.  From Carbery the 32-county Communities Creating Jobs has been formed.
